Big De Posted November 5, 2001 Share Posted November 5, 2001 What kind of shock absorbers/springs are best for a Vx that is to be used on the road/track I am looking at buying Leda adjustable shocks from James Whiting with 300lb springs at front and 170 rear. After a lot of researching and wallet checking I found that the 'Avo' range seem good value, are valved for Sevens if stated, are rebuildable if required, & have variable damping/platforms as std. Too soon to comment on the real ride quality. Suffice to say that the handling is a revelation (but then my old ones were clapped!). I have 250lb fronts and 180lb rear springs.
