i know its been done lots on here doing a search was quite useful but after replacing my standard r/o/s sierra type calliper with a new one a problem has arisen. when i bleed it i cant stop bubbles coming out ..lots of them. all the other wheels are running clear with no bubbles. the rear of the car is jacked up and there are no leaks, shall i just keep going as this must be the air that entered the system when i changed the calliper ....i must have run about 5 litres through.

getting frustrated now ....help!!!!!!!!

DON'T PANIC in large friendly letters. I'ts air sgetting sucked in through the threads of the nipple. Best solution is to remove it, wire brush it and put 3 turns of pipe fitter' PTFE tape on (correctly). That stops the air and saves the threads from siezing. *thumbup*. (Don't loosen it more than 1/4 turn to bleed an all.)

thanks Susser i think its done the trick even though it was the new calliper!

when i was taking the nipple out (not the masonic greeting) at about 1/4 turn it was actually quite wobbly in the thread. but the end result is i now have a stiff one.
