Myles
Meant to ask this earlier - my HiSpec 4-pots have two bleed-nipples each - one for each pair of pistons... ...any preference for which to bleed first? Inner (hose-side) or outer? My best-guess is to do the inner first - otherwise any bubbles there might be transferred to the other side and it might not be possible to get them all out??? Support Team Shaun_E Posted May 19, 2005 Support Team Share Posted May 19, 2005 According to the build manual it is inboard first. This is for AP 4 pots but I can't see why it would be different for the Hi-Spec ones. philwaters
Yep, I did the inside first - it took quite a few attempts though to get a nice firm pedal though, I tended to go for a few miles run and then do then again, and so on. I also had a load of red grease that got washed out with the fluid, which was a good indication of when you are getting fresh fluid. More on my site. Myles
Thanks - reminds me that I saw a bit of red in the fluid yesterday... Project Scope-Creep is live... Alcester Racing 7's Equipe - 🙆🏻™ Alcester-Racing-Sevens.com
