Part No for front wheel bearings

Does anyone know the bearing numbers for the De-dion front set-up as I can't read the numbers on mine. One side feels quite notchy as it rotates, and the other makes a bit of a noise, so I guess they need replacing. I presume I will get them cheaper than Caterham if I shop around.

Cheers,

Ben

THe Caterham kit wasn't too expensive for my live axle double wishbone front bearing. However, one quirk was that when it was fitted to 'just finger tight' they were rougher than the ones being removed. Had to tighten them up until they went quiet but still rotated freely.

Cheers,

Thanks very much gents.

Is it worth the effort... well I guess that depends how much they are and I haven't a clue. I get the impression that you pay well over the odds for generic stuff if you buy it from Caterham though. May not be representative, but heavy duty big end bolts for my Vx were something like 65 quid from SBD, Caterham wanted about 120 give or take. Seemed worth shopping around to me!

I have a Rover dealer nearby so I'll pop in there.

Cheers,

Ben
