Iain A Posted May 19, 2005 Share Posted May 19, 2005 Mike My engine isn't dry sumped, I have the Raceline baffled sump with the temp sender mounted in the side of the pan. I was a bit surprised at the oil temps I acheived on track. Peter McEwan advised me to start worrying if it got above 110C - so when I got to 115C I backed off. I checked again with Peter and he advised a 13 row cooler with a thermostatic control (I used a thermostatic sandwich plate). The installation is similar to the one Dobuy did, have a look at his website - except the cooler is in front of the water rad (It is tight getting the aeroquip hoses past the ally rad) Temps have been fine since.
