shn7
Probably matches with 19 cold I should think, depending upon how well you're working them. Steve.

Dartmoor7
I use 16 psi cold on 185/60x13 front and 205/60x13 rear. This still wears the centres more than the edges, and higher pressures made my car too skittish on our bumpy Devon roads. Jerry Parker L7 SVN 1.4 Supersport Edited by - L7SVN on 16 May 2005 09:54:
Petrolhead
Why is it even at low presure the ctr wears out before the sides? NE7Club Web Site R5 no 65 😬 I am after low level tyre rack and jerry can box for Mino
blade_runner
I suppose it depends on how hard the car is driven... After all we are setting theses temperatures cold, to get to the ideal Warm Pressure when the tyre is being used. Â 'Pinky Pics' here
Dartmoor7
>>I suppose it depends on how hard the car is driven I've yet to meet anyone who drives harder than me on the road. It's because of the extreme lightness of the car, if you put the same tyres at the same pressures on, say, a Focus, the edges would be gone in no time and the car wouldn't grip or handle at all. Jerry Parker L7 SVN 1.4 Supersport

Dartmoor7
Just said to refute the idea that tyre centre wear is a driving style problem. Of course, there are only about 15-20 Sevens in our local area group(covering the whole of Devon and Cornwall),and we don't get to drive together very often, and I haven't experienced the challenging roads of Essex. Want to come and play on the moor next time you're in Salcombe? Jerry Parker L7 SVN 1.4 Supersport

Dartmoor7
You may be able to manage our local meet then, I think it will be on the evening of Wednesday 1st June at the Warren House Inn near Postbridge. Visitors from less-favoured regions always welcome. Jerry Parker L7 SVN 1.4 Supersport
