Myles
Just having a look at the hoses supplied with my new HiSpec 4-pots - they use a banjo-fitting at the caliper end - and I've not used these before. I assume and believe that I put a copper-washer each side of teh banjo and then just screw the bolty thing into the caliper. On the other end of the hose, I've been supplied with the inch(ish) long male connector - and from an earlier posting about the rear-hoses I received this week from CC, I understand that I *don't* need a washer on this - they should just screw in??? This leaves a thin nut kicking around in the bag - it fits the thread on both ends - and I dunno what I'm supposed to do with it... A similar nut was supplied by CC with the rear hoses - and this only fitted on the long-male connector. Any hints as to where this is supposed to go? Project Scope-Creep is live... Peter T
The thin nut supports the threaded connector that you have. It goes between the ally side skin of your panel. Carbon Components from K9 Composites
