Ferrino
About to assemble the front suspension and wondering: - New brake discs come with an anti-corrosive film which you need to remove, right? So just a whipe with white spirit or something? - When bolting to hubs, what is the required torque and do you use Loctite? Cheers Bite me 😬
Peter T
Brake caliper is 35 lbft (48 nm). No need for loctite as fitted with a spring washer. Clean protective coating off discs with either petrol, meths or thinners or a brake cleaner, you need to use a solvent based cleaner that leaves no residue.
