jimmyslr
I think 5w-40 is the recommended oil. I always used to use the Halfords fully synth with regular changes and no ill results, but swapped to a pricier/technically superior (but who knows if it makes any real life difference..., but I feel better about it) Silkolene Pro S 5w-40. There's a huge thread on this from several months ago.

Mr Woo
Used to run my supercharged G40 on Mobil 1 0w 40 and did just over 100K miles and the engine was still running very nicely when I sold it. Noticed much improved start from cold and was more willing to rev than when using "thicker" oils. Not sure how much help this is to a K-series engine owner 🤔
Mad7ner
Roger We always use either comma Syner Z (0-30 fully synthetic) or comma Syner G (5-40 fully synthetic) Chris 😬 Comma web site here
Slipper man
The people who build the engine recommend Mobil 1 motorsport 15w 50 available from Halfords if you ever take it on circuit. If not any synthetic 0-5w 40 would be fine.
