Maintenance of Raceco

Thank you very much Metal Mickey.

In fact I have been using the material that was provided by AMMO together with the Raceco silencer. So, I figure that 'rock wool' is not the proper term.

Could you tell me if I must try to do something on this small dent, or just do nothing ( road warrior scar *wink* )

here

Cheers,

Pierre

Thanks Norman. I think I would agree with you.

During the night I had the revelation *wink* that if I could rotate downwards the titanium shell by one 'screw', the larger dent would not be visible anymore. The welding line which is presently facing the ground would move upwards by one 'screw' but will not be very apparent along the body of the car.

You are right. It does not . My car was one of the quieter on the pits straight at Le Bugatti track last week end.

I understand now how I did it: I was holding tight the silencer between my knees while trying to remove the outlet cap with my hands. I thought it was a gentle way.

Next time I shall be even more careful.

Titanium is tough but must be handle with much care. I must say that Metal Mickey deserves even more my admiration now *thumbup*
