Does anyone know where I can get Kumho Ecsta V70A's from, in the 205/45 16 variety I've been quoted £101 + the dreaded per corner from Protyre or suggest an alternative. Cheers

My apologies for the slight thread hijack, but how are Kuhmo's regarded in the tyre world?

 

I hope the V70As are better than the Kuhmo Ecstra Widowmakers (sorry, Supras) I've got on the back of the Lexus at the mo.. they're the first Kuhmo's I've ever experienced and at 275/35's even the 2 ton behemoth can spin them without trying, in the wet at least it means I can enjoy the fun of powersliding without getting the Caterham wet I s'pose!

V70As are on a par with Toyo R888 and Yoko A048R - see here. Available in hard/medium and soft compounds.

Bad image but great tire, nearly same grip as ACB10 but much cheaper and no tramlining. My experience.
