My 7 SL has a steel guard around the EMS key (I'm assuming this is an FIA requirement). Does anyone know if they are available in a thick plastic or carbon fibre 'cos the steel one seems to weigh a fair chunk for what it is (I removed it recently to get it powder-coated to match the black screen stanctions). No good if it has snapped off in the 'running' position. I know the inertia switch is supposed to work too, but ya never can be sure!!! PS Don't try this at home folks.
