Mark Ferguson
Gents, help needed plse Stripping a vvc head at the moment to take to DVA to get it ported. Please bear in mind I am not mechanical but will have a go at anything. Already disturbed Dave once today & as he is busy dont want to keep ringing him. Cam Carrier removed along with cams & followers, that was easy enough, all blanking plates removed etc. Now looking into the head itself & see the caps on top of the springs, valves. How do i get this lot removed ???, do i need a special tool ??? all help would be grateful, thanks
Mike Bees
Yes, you need a valve spring compressor. Mike
