robert green Posted April 25, 2005 Author Share Posted April 25, 2005 It was certainy very slippy on Saturday, and competitors had to do some trials driving just to leave the paddock 😬 😬 There were a couple of nasty accidents just before bunnys leap - one involving a very nice Lotus 7 twin cam (driver ok I gather, but car pretty damaged) and a westfield which looked like it rolled having come off in roughly the same place (I understand that the driver was ok, but went to hospital for check ups). As a result there was only the one timed run, but I would certainly have gone slower having seen those two offs. I won my class, but what with offs and no shows there were only two of us that posted a timed run so nothing too much to be proud off - oh well - the first one!!!!
