Mike Bees
I'm changing my radius arm fixings from the bush-in-chassis-rail to the bolt-through type. It seems to me that all I need to do is roger it through with a drill the same size as the shank of the bolt and bolt it on. Is that it? StewartG
I adopted a belt and braces approach with mine. Fitted a longer bolt still screwed through the threaded bush but with a nylock on the inside so that it can't come loose.
Peter Carmichael
Make a neat job of removing the surrounding interior panel so that the nut nips up against the steel of the bush rather than having a squishy aluminium washer.

Rob Walker
Mike, The inner face of the bush is counter bored to allow the the cap headed allen to sink below the face of the interior panel Rob
Mike Bees
Oh, even if it's a '97 chassis with a threaded bush? When I bought the bolts from Caterham (happened to be there so it seemed the easy thing to do) they were going to give me capheads until I said it was a bushed version that I was converting, then they gave me ordinary hex heads.
