Owjay
Academy starts in 2 weeks and I forgot to buy a transponder! Could be up to 28 days from MST so anyone got one on the go? Oh, and if its Chronit i'm not paying more than 20 quid for it!
Myles
£20 for a seasons use... I'm sure it's worth more than that even if it's junk at the end. Project Scope-Creep is underway... Owjay
20 quid is what you get for it if you send it back to MST.... ok I'm open to bids on a Chronit then!
cr
Owjay: you don't need a transponder for the sprints, just the races. You will need your timing strut though ! BTW: MST seem to be pretty on the ball - most people's come through within a week.
Owjay
could have sworn they said 'make sure you've got a transponder'!I'll make sure I don't forget the strut now! Do we get a practise session? I've never been to Aintree before
Wahey
Hi Owjay, I won't have one fitted in time for Aintree and I know of a couple of others that won't either - mine has just been ordered. I think none of us have done Aintree before and our event is their first of the year so no chance to get any practice in. I think we get to see the course before we are expected to race against the clock - hope so anyway!
Owjay
If not it'll be chaos for anyone trying to be competitive!

Colin Powell
I live in Tamworth where you have to get the transponders from so if any body wants one please get in touch at Aintree and i can order them and pick them up for you and save postage also if we get a bulk order we might be able to talk on price with MST
Owjay
Cheers guys, but I managed to get one at short notice from MST. It also turns out that I don't need it for aintree, we're using Hillclimb timing struts!
