Brake Discs wear limits.

Disc thickness is usually specified on the disc. Something like;

 

"Min Thickness 10"

 

That would be about right for a 12mm thick solid disc. Check yours - the marking can be anywhere on the disc. Perhaps on the disc edge or marked on the bell somewhere.

Markings are on the disc edge which is great when they're new, but illegible a week later *confused*

 

Specs. posted recently by someone who appeared to know were:

 

New 10.16mm = 0.400"

Min 8.3mm = 0.327"

 

Edited to say ignore the above..which is for standard discs, not big 'uns 😳
