Red SLR
I want to paint the area where the ECU is in my car black. I have tried on a test item, some zinc primer followed by satin black hammerite. I am not happy with the finnish. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Cheers Simon. LeMans 2004 pics here FREE SEVEN CHAThere
John Howe
You need to start with an etching primer - not too sure if that is grammatically corrrect, but I'm sure you have got the message JH Deliveries by Saffron, the yellow 222bhp Sausage delivery machine

Tyrone
What have you got against the Finnish, I've always found them to be friendly people and excellent drivers.

Tyrone
Hey Si, Slight thread pinch, what's the news on the logo competition?
Support Team Shaun_E Posted April 7, 2005 Support Team Share Posted April 7, 2005 If you want a finish that looks similar to black powder coat then I can recommend Halfords Satin Black spray paint - matches powder coat really well. Use the etching primer first and then 2 or 3 coats of the paint. I didn't rub the paint down between coats but you can if you want a first class finish.
