tracking on a live axle

i'm sure some of you will have read that title and think...

"gawd, can't he check the archives ?!"

given the common and much discussed nature of my query... but funnily enough, i couldn't find an answer with a search.

i ramble.

the question is.. what tracking should i have on the front of my 1700 live axle car... mostly for road use, driven keenly ( who doesn't ), with a bit of track stuff hopefully coming up next year.

a very knowledgeable pal suggested 20mins toe-in.

cheers folks,

200mm is a lot, but 20 mins isn't too bad. I think this is what aterham suggest. I however, run mine at parallel and am very happy with this. Provides lots of feedback and is very controllable.

James,

Just checked, it should be 20 mins, not 20mm, according to the note I made when I got the info from Caterhams, many years ago. I think anything from 20 mins to parallel, depending on how you like the feel will be OK.

It's another Seven, try it and see moment

cool, thanks all. i think i might go to parallel, and then it'll give me a great excuse to learn how to alter it myself if and when i decide i don't like it !
