1992 1700 X-Flow - Now £7,999 !!

Recommended Posts

Due to an impending house move I am forced to sell my car and face some time without a 7 ☹️

Details are:

CAR:

Caterham Red

1992 Q plate

1700 X-Flow with stamp on block saying has been worked on by Gerry Wainwright. Spec unknown but feels to be about 140-145 BHP with more torque than standard

4 speed gearbox (new clutch just fitted)

Live Axle

Freestyle adjustable shocks fitted last year

Caterham removable aeroscreen plus screen and doors

Drivers tillett seat passenger cloth seat

FIA rollbar

New small black headlights and clear indicators

Stack Tacho

2 sets of wheels - 1 with well worn ACB10's, Other with Yokohamas with loads of tread left

MOT until August, tax till end of April

Tonneau cover

It has just had two new rear wings fitted and had a new nose cone last year so looks quite tidy. All mechanical work from when I bought it from caterham in November 03 has been done by Chris Wheeler of seven workshop. In club sprints it has kept pace with a number of the superlights so is a quick car.

Price down to just £7,999 as it needs a new home.

Also available:

5 year old (approx) Brian James minno

Just had £350 spent on new coupling due to me not checking properly what I was buying *mad*

High level tyre rack

Large storage box

Spare (with brand new tyre)

Wheel chocks

I'll sell it for the £1,100 that I paid for it.

.

Cheers Rob. I will be back with a 7 hopefully next year. In the meantime a number of wonderful people have offered me dual drives at some sprints so at least I can stay around and have some fun!

Have I priced it too cheaply I'm now wondering....Oh well, never mind, it has to go I suppose.
