New Ali Rad

If I was going to buy a replacement radiator, what's the thoughts on which would be best to go for? CC Ali triple pass or a Radtec one 🤔

I know there was a Radtec bulk buy a year or so ago but didn't know what the views on them where since.

P.S. is it normal for the temp gauge to sit slightly higher now I've taken my heater out 🤔 I guessed it would, but not by much. I've run the car for 300miles since taking it out so I'm pretty sure there are no airlocks by the way.

Cheers,

Hmm - well that's three people who are thinking about it - I think my std. CC ali-rad is slightly marginal now that I've upgraded the engine...

BB anyone? ISTR their min order was 10 units previously.

I would be interested to hear how the last lot got on though - I do seem to remember some problems with minor leaks being reported...

I bought a Radtec in an earlier bulk buy and (touch wood) have had no problems with it. It does the job fine coping with a wet sump K running a Laminova oil cooler on trackdays and in hot summer drives.

Search the archives for some comments about the design of the Caterham triple pass radiator.

Seven more to go then *wink*

Does anyone remember the deal for the BB last time? The search doesn't go back far enough *confused*(yes it does!)

It was the rumors of leaks that I was trying to understand Myles.

Editted because I'm a numpty and have just noticed the search has a "since the begining" choice *tongue*
