Pipes for old style heater

A long shot I know, but is there anyone out there with some good condition hoses for the old style "Clayton" heater. i.e. 13 mm diameter heater matrix pipes to 16 mm heater switch pipes????

Fed up with trying to coax 16mm hose to seal with 13mm pipe using tape etc etc.

Thanks to you both.

Not sure if I would describe my heater as like a video player - trouble is my 7 knowledge is totally limited to my own car. I THINK that the only main difference between my heater and the new ones is that the heater matrix has its pipes in a slightly different place and they are now 16mm diameter rather than the original 13mm diameter.

On the subject of silicon, I did a bit of googling on this and found www.sfsperformance.co.uk. They have said they can produce 16mm to 13mm reducing 90 degree elbows with a short 13mm side and a long 16mm side. I will give them a go as this route would be a match with the silicon on the rest of the car.

Bri - can I pass on your kind offer for now? If this SFS route works, there might be others out there who would like to know about it.

Thanks again,

Dom
