old captain slow
It took 30 mins to fit the baffle and put it all back together but 4 hours to get the sump off One screw had been damaged by contact with the road and an Allen key snapped in the head off an overtight deeply recessed screw. Unbelievable!!!!!! Anyway all back together so just going out for a test blat. I may be gone some time 😬 C7 CDW Edited by - david w on 19 Mar 2005 15:15:

JP
Any of those worrying momentary drops on the oil pressure guage going round roundabouts...or am I expecting too much of the Hellier baffle?
old captain slow
The problem is negotiating the roundabout and looking at the gauge. Let you know better after Croix next Thursday. C7 CDW
Myles
Assuming I make it to Anglesey on Friday, I'll try rigging up my bullet-cam for a session to see what happens to OP there. Myles
I'm almost certainly going to stick with my Bridgestone RE720s - I didn't have any trouble keeping up with people through the corners last time. I do have a set of CR500s - but they aren't road-legal, they're in Cheltenham (no chance of picking them up in time) and I'd have to fit my wheel-rack - which makes getting to and from Anglesey a bit of a bind. Only question is - do I take the current-set (guessing 4ish mm left) or fit the 'new' set I bought from Mav... Project Scope-Creep is underway... Englishmaninwales
My oil pressure gauge indicated a significant drop in pressure on slightest provocation on the road after upgrading to 1800. Fitted a Hellier baffle today and I took great pleasure in putting the sump foam in the bin. Malcolm
