And I am off to buy some (lots!!) of Rivets now and just want to check the positioning of them under the car. Lining-up the seat runner bolt holes would probably be the best starting point - one way round will probably be better than the other. The rear should line-up with the rear chassis cross member and the front with the chassis cross member that passes just forward of the seat leading edge. If necessary, cut the end(s) to fit. If the front and rear rivet holes don't line-up with your existing chassis holes, you'll need to re-drill the 'U' channels, rather than the chassis. You can mark the 'U' channel rivet holes through onto the floor pan and drill those rivet holes. Having some "Skin Clips" would make it easier to hold in position while drilling/marking-out.
