The later chassis, have a seperate threaded boss, that is bolted thru the rear panel of the car (on older cars it was a welded nut apparently). Question is, Which way round should the boss be fitted i.e Nut showing on the outside of the rear panel OR Nut hidden inside the car and the back of the boss showing on the back panel. I hav'ent tried either of these yet! But to me, the latter looks like the more sensible and neater solution, but does'nt seem to give much thread to screw into. .
