tonneau cover and track day roll over bar fitment

The 2 Roadsports my brother and I are building are making steady progress. We have just fitted the 'A' frame and the manual recommends fitting the track day roll over bar at this stage. With regards to this I have 2 questions:

Is it necesaary to fit the bulkhead carpet and boot cover at this stage, as suggested?

How difficult is it to attach a tonneau once the car is built?

Any recommendations will be most helpful.

The reason to fit the rollover bar now is that 2 of the mounting bolts go up through a hole just above the top damper mounts - this hole is inaccessible once the dampers are on.

If you are fitting carpet then this folds over the top edge of the bulkhead and therefore underneath the flange on the roll over bar. The tonneau itself can probably go over that flange (it does on my car) but would look neater if it too was underneath the flange.
