Trevor Gilby
Simple question 😬 195 x45 x 15" tyres, what is best tyre pressure front and rears, for only road use, Avon CR500's. My car seems a bit twitchy recently since new rears put on, maybe at wrong pressure

ponant
l have 195 45 R15 78v , l try all and any psi all the way down from 14, to 23 .... none work very well.... on the wet cr500 are bad 🙆🏻 they will last 5.500/6.000 km max without tracks... wonkey eyed barmaid
bernard, its probably not the CR500 fault that car handles bad in the wet. its maybe more to do with the 45 profile, and the 15" rim you are running... higher sidewalls are more forgiving and allow the tyres more grip in the wet.. Trevor Gilby
Thanks for your input guys, will adjust to 18psi all round and see if the handling improves.
