GTD
Is that the same muppet who (according to yesterday's Times) swants us to stop using motorways in cars so that lorries can have the priority? Apparently all the road problems are caused by people using motorways for short journeys G for Geoff

Mrs GTD
Cars are the problem. Just think how lovely & quiet our motorways would be if we got rid of all the cars Maybe Brunstrom's cunning plan is to fine anyone who activates a 'friendly' speed warning sign... Meldrew
He's a politically motivated, self-serving careerist. I don't doubt that he has seen the government start to waver on these things and is now backing off his own stance after sucking up to his political masters for so long as it's not longer going to buy him advancement. I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw Geoff Capes. Put him in charge of Nottingham, then se'll see how he gets on.

Barbarella
Mr Brunstrom's favourite dream is an M6 clogged wall to wall with lorries, and sandalled bearded bicyclers weaving happily in between them, grass is growing in between the concrete cracks in the road and sheep munch contentedly. Tony B Liar is on television saying that there is nothing to worry about, it was all in their manifesto. Oh yes, that's my favourite dream too... 😬 Hmm, I wonder: [Little Red Riding Hood stylee] Ah, Mr Brunstrom - what big eyes you have... what big ears you have... etc.[/LRRHs] Watch out, there's a Wolf about! 😬
