AndrewD
Does anybody have any tips for good, reliable, value for money places to buy ACB10's (and get them fitted/balanced)? After a couple of track days in my SLR, the tyres are looking a bit sorry for themselves... Anywhere close to South London would be especially convenient. Thanks. allegro
Andrew I used to buy my ACB10 s from Avon direct. They will deliver to your door. Tel 01225 357694 Speak to Brian Davis. Andy Mac Out of Control RED SLR teeth.gif
Andy Checkley
Andrew, Caterham use Dartford Tyre Services. I don't think that they supply the tyres but they are used to fitting ACB10's and will fit them correctly. I learnt the hard way recently and had a local tyre shop put the tyres I had bought from Caterham on and they screwed up one rim and a tyre. They paid up 300 quid but it was a lot of hassle. One point, the SLR alloy wheels are better suited to metal valves rather than the rubber type, Dartford Tyre Services can provide these.
Slipper man
My advice would be to leave it for a while if you can. Paul Davis is looking at deals on tyres that we can make available to club members.

V7 SLR
Keith. Interesting note. Any idea when we'll find out? Will notification be on this site? Need either a full set of SLR-sized ACB10's or CR500's.
simonwelton
For a laugh I tried Kwikfit direct, "any tyre, any size, any where", oh except for the ones we can't get! BMTR or something are the sole UK supplier apparently, however Caterham were actually a couple of quid cheaper so I would suggest trying them first. And DON'T ask Kwikfit to fit them Si
