R2D2 Posted October 8, 2001 Share Posted October 8, 2001 FIAM make a longer than standard filter for one of the diesel Escort CVH engines. Not only does it have a larger capacity it also has a non-return valve to stop the pump emptying when you switch off. This filter fits on my car and is about 0.5" clear of the bottom of the sump.
