Mike C.
On the off chance - I'm looking for a nice, reliable 1950s Ferguson tractor. Requirements are: - Must be in good original condition (doesn't need to be 'show' but should be nice) - Must be in reliable working order (it will get some light use on a farm) - Must be road registered - Must be diesel - Not too far from Gloucs Thanks Mad Manx
Nifty
You don't want much then Why a Grey Fergie, is it for the collectors appeal (which you will have to pay for)? A 35 or 135 will be more useful as a tool and probably cost less. My neighbour back in Staffs has one in his shed that he refused to sell to me *thumbdown* Keep off the straight and narrow 😬
Mike C.
My wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I said "A little grey Fergie". She looked totally puzzled and I heard no more, so thought I better make my own enquiries..... This morning, my wife said there was an injured badger in the barn. Off we all went, no sign of a badger. But, low and behold, a wonderful little 1956 Fergie. Mechanically A1 with a wonderful patina of age (not 'show'!). Fantastic. Think I'll start with some chain harrowing. Mad Manx

Nifty
Has it come with the obligatory grey two furrow plough 🤔 Keep off the straight and narrow 😬
Mike C.
No. However, most of the land is Cotswold Hills pasture, so we don't do much ploughing - mainly chain harrowing, topping etc. We also have a boring 4wd Case. The Fergie is for fun. Mad Manx
