henry21p Posted March 3, 2005 Share Posted March 3, 2005 Have been delving into some proof that 21's aren't all as unreliable as mine...... Found information on the 1999/2000 GT3 championship and 24 hour racing.... The Belcar championship runs all the classes at the same time - porkers, marcoses, TC's etc 2x caterham 21's raced in 1999, one in 2000. Interesting to note that they SPANKED all the cars in the same class.... and came first, beating them by 20 laps! The only problem was apparently slipstreaming the marcoses the drivers got sick becuase of the fuel being sprayed out of the back. 18th overall, 1st in class! Is rather gutting to think that in one single race that 21 managed more miles than my car has survived on any of its last 3 engines. And it's still going! look here - article on the RHS.
