Delbert Posted March 2, 2005 Share Posted March 2, 2005 I'm worried I think I understood what they were talking about and it is a phenonenomononon that traffic engineers (part of my dgree) have to design for.. I will try and explain in Delbert speak If you build a fence alongside a road but not exactly paralell then you get a falshing as the light is blocked and un blocked by the fence posts If you are driving at a constant speed this flashing becomes hypnotic and can cause you to be either distracted from your focus or mesmerised to sleep.
