Meldrew Posted March 2, 2005 Share Posted March 2, 2005 I love the story that the Clangers allegedly had written dialogue and that Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin played Swanee whistles to imitate the cadence and tone of the words. Apparently there's one scene where Major Clanger can't open the doors of the underground Clanger house at which he's supposed to be saying "Oh sod it, the bloody thing's stuck again".
