911 (964) C2 LHD

R500 CYA

Recommended Posts

Due to an on going argument with my wife *mad* my last toy is up for sale.

(Already sold the SLR so she can have babies, the Clio 172 so she can have a Volvo, the GS Adventure paid for part of the conservatory and now my last toy is to allow her to start a new business) I will not have it said I am under the thumb!

It's a 91 (92 spec) with 95,000miles, full history and three owners since imported in 2000

LSD

ABS

all electrics work

induction kit (nice noise)

hayward and scott ss exhaust from headers back (98 dBa at 4750 rpm)

accel racing chip

rough guesstimate should be about 280 bhp (but I am sure someone will tell me otherwise)

loads of cash spent on it incl all fluids changed, new oil cooler, stereo, air con serviced and charged, belts, gaskets, guaranteed NO LEAKS, clutch is good as is the gearbox.

currently on a SORN living in my garage under a tailored cover attached to an optimate. Think I might move in with it actually.

Dont want to sell it, hence lack lustre ad on an unrelated car site, but of you're interested its £12k no offers.

Email if you want pics and if she's standing over my shoulder I might send you some.

Alternatively does anyone know a good divorce lawyer.

Can I have some pics please?

edited to reduce the already ridiculous amount of spam coming to this address. Latest was "oledr women wants to f***" (sic) and bizarrely there was no attached nasty or web link. Still, it's in the bin now.

Give it a few mins cos I think it takes a while for webshots to sort their act out.

Dannyboy, thanks for the offer, do you have a spare matress too?

BOS- too late she was stood over me as I typed! Got to go and clean her car now. "Yes m'lady, right away m'lady"

You can let her know that since my boys were created by my perfect self I've got through at least 3 911's, 4 Caterhams, 10 classic Lotus Elan's, 3 Lotus Europa's, about 10 various bikes including 916's, 748's, 851's, T509, T595, T955, R1100S, R850R. etc: etc:, current toys are a Ferrari 308GT4 and a Caterham, my sons are 6 and 9 years, my wife does not worry at all about my toy habbit, as long as I provide for the family anything goes. Your only here once, there's no rehersal, and I want to have a play with as many cars and bikes as I can !

Ever driven an early RHD 911? (930/964/993)

UGH! The pedals are even more offset than a nasty old 308 GTS *eek*

LHD is much better with regard to driving position, its better on the track (tracks are predominantly clockwise in the UK so you have a better view of right hand bends) and most importantly of all it 5k cheaper than its RHD equivalent!

I can understand your concerns, but really they are misfounded, however there are two people coming to see it at the weekend so if you could spread the word about how horrible it is to drive a LHD please do so, it can only help me keep it!

Cheers Anthony, you know I'd far sooner move into it than sell it!

For everybody else who has asked for pics and details, thanks for your interest, I'm emailing as fast as I can (just back from the pub after yet another depressing England game and the bottle of Rioja and three pints of Stella seem to be impeading progress somewhat)
