Apparently she has managed to upgrade my MSN chattyy thingy to grade 6 sommit

Now it says I'm signed on at another 'putor and will not beehave ☹️

Also does MSm create a history file so I can find out who she has really been chatting to??

Non parents this is not an invasion of privacy just want to check......

Delbert,

Open MSN Messenger window. Click on the 'Tools...' menu at the top, select 'Options...'

Click on the 'Messages' tab and at the bottom of this window you should see an option to 'Automatically keep a history of my conversations'

😬You laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at you because you're all the same. 😬

Cheers Kev,

She has here seperate MSM account so that will be usefull.

I have had many chats with her about the 'tinternet but so have other families.

I'm sure she is only chatting to friends but I think I should know just in case....

My parents spent many hours explaining the downside of smoking and now look at me.

she knows how to limit incoming to her "friends" only then.

I woul imagine that with a pa like you she's grown up suitably skeptical about t'Internet and chatting to people.

Had to have a chat with my little bro about it (he's 12 now)... he seems fairly clued up and savvy about things. He's also v honest when it comes to not hiding things from my dad as well (he takes pride in showing the logs off himself to dad to justify his use of the internet and build trust such that he is allowed to use it lots)

Do you or your family have problems with some friends/blatchatters being on MSN Messenger and others on Yahoo/ICQ.

I'm trialling IMVITE. See here Talk to them all in one place at the same time.

Seems OK, no nasty side effects. It may get around the problem of being signed on with MSN on another PC. Haven't tried that.
