Fitting a full roll cage

I have a roll cage (older sort). I have never taken it off, but it would seem that undoing the bolts at the front frame and by the dashboard, the whole thing should lift off. (Subject to chassis warp, twisted cage and other inponderables.

Seats I have no problem with, they just unbolt and can be lifted eith through the top of the cage, or twisted in side ways. (Leather s type seats)

Dont, think my comments help much ?

I fitted a full cage quite recently to a LA car, but I guess it's probably more or less the same whatever. At the back, it fits in exactly the same way as the roll bar. At the front, you've got to locate the bushes in the side of the car (as per Petty strut and equivalent on other side of the car) and make holes in the side of the car (inside and out) to bolt into these. Like lots of things Caterham, it should then be a straight fit but actually required a fair bit of pushing, pulling and hole relieving to get it on. A full day's work more or less. It's not difficult, just abit awkward - and needs 2 people.
