Mine may be self inflicted (kidding myself again).

The CRB fro the original Super Clutch has a 50mm thrust point centre.

The correct one for the AP is 54mm and a lot thicker.

Has this put strain on the diaphragm which in turn has damaged the centre plate splines?

As I said, kidding myself.

I'm really sorry to hear you're having a big bucket of grief Mr Verona but if you're having all the bad luck, will I be getting some good luck 🤔 *confused*

my build has been held up due to the wiring loom. We didn't realise that despite caterham using the newer VVC engines in the R300 cars, they were using the older VVC ECU prepared with an EU3 plug on it... (or something). As a result, Clive has had to prepare a custom wiring loom for me which has taken ages (I really hope it hasn't been too expensive.

aaargh.

Good news - apollo tank is in, cooling system is in, engine is in....
