I'm probably popping over to Grand Rapids, MI next week so I'll see if I can find time to pop in and buy one... I've been looking for a new jack as mine has too high a saddle to get under the back of the car.

Now 3000lb is over a metric ton, so should't be any issues with using it on a caterham... Though Mav's might be a little heavy for it... 😬 😬

Imagine the scene

A young , innocent Mr Caravaner walks through Gatwick Customs

Hexcuse me SIrrrrr, What is that under your arm.

"Its a lightweight car jack" comes the reply from a now sweating Mr Caravaner

The Customs Officail asks " Often take garage tools on business trips sir?"

"No" replies the now confused, shaking and sweaty Mr Caravaner

"Then I can only assume you purchased the said item in the US of A and as such Import duty is due,

Bend over please"

Picture of Mr Caravaner *arrowright* *eek* 🙆🏻 *thumbup*

Pedant (noun), one who exhibits one's learning or scholarship ostentatiously *eek*

2)the jack is less than the GBP120 allowances allowed by 'liz &her boys in black & go

d

3) its more the canon digi slr & oakley sunglasses i'll have bought they should worry about! 😬 😬
