If they are going in 13" wheels the cooling fins will need grinding down (no probs heat not such a problem on a car weighing 1/2 Golf). Changing the axle is going to be a slow burner 'cos it requires prop mods and new wheels and I want to swap the front hubs from Triumph to Ford, swap in an ATB and, of course, swap to discs all in one go. So I can't be spending on new callipers :( !! Pear shaped Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Normans_Ghost Posted February 13, 2005 Share Posted February 13, 2005 I'm not sure, the callipers I got were for mk 4 Golf GTi. If you get one from a scrappy I'll be able to say if it'll fit. The bracket has the same centres that bolt on to the ear. The calliper is a ali version of the Ford unit but smaller and with fins on top.  Put a call out for JAG on TechTalk and ask him.
