DougieB
Hi, I'm just about to fit a 'Tax Safe' tax disc holder onto a de dion (with windscreen). Has anybody else done similar and if so how and where did you fit. Thanks in advance DougieB
Casbar
Not sure what a tax safe disc holder is, but I've fitted my ali tax disc holder through one of the windscreen stanchion bolts, so its on the side of the car

Nick VVC
Same as Casbar - through the windscreen bracket on the lower bolts using a holder from a motorcycle dealer - keeps the tax disc reanonably visible for Plod to see, but also fairly secure. CHRIS CLARK
Ditto 'Casbar' & 'Nick V V C' Remember the nut on the back. I knew someone who rounded the socket cap screw hex thinking it went into a captive nut!
DougieB
Thanks, the windscreen option seems the favorite. DougieB
rynicolson
Just be sure the stanchion bolt is still long enough to catch the nylock... mine didn't.
stevefoster
I swapped to bonnet spring bolt ala Robmar cos it speeds up changing screens over....
