oilyhands Posted February 8, 2005 Share Posted February 8, 2005 K Series cylinder head, freshly ported to ultimate spec. by DVAPower, new REC 31.5mm inlet valves (VHPD size), new REC 26mm exhaust valves, new VHPD guides, new Piper springs (for cams up to BP285H), new valve stem oil seals, newly skimmed. Manual tensioner type. Similar heads with the right cams and induction/exhaust have made over 220BHP on an 1800K. £1150 In case it looks expensive I have detailed the cost of replicating the head Std K16 head .. say £100-150 8 inlet inserts for 31.5mm valves £235 16 REC valves £246 Set VHPD guides £60 Taper and fit guides/cut seats £??? Set Piper springs £82 Head skim £30 Full big valve port £600 Set valve stem seals £24 Assembly of head £??? Presumably this head with the Jenveys that I hope are still on your shelf would give me a reasonable result from a 1600K block.
