Warren S Smith
Could someone advise how easy it is to convert a RHD car to LHD. I have a friend in Spain who is looking for a LHD but, so far, without success. What are people's thoughts about cost /practicality? Thanks for all replies. Tony J
I too have a cat in Spain ! Seeing on how narrow the cockpit is it seems pointless spending a small national dept converting it, also when you come to sell the thing the market is far greater for RHD models. I also have a RHD Pug 406 that is far more akward to drive on the right, if I were him I would leave the wheel where it belongs. Just a thought TJ
elie boone
Warren, It is possible to convert to LHD but make sure that the car you buy has the extended foodwell on the passenger side. If orginality is no problem, put a Willwood pedal assembly in. The only other thing to do is make a new dash. and place the steering tube on the left side. The original pedalbox you just cut out and put an ali. plate where it whas.
