or use her more than once a month!

Zena that is...

My blattery has only gone flat once... and that was 'cos I left both GPS units on and didn't use Colin for two weeks. Now I have a BIG RED swtich on my dash (that Chrisb finks looks stoopid) to turn thems off so hopefully it won't happen again!

Yes, it was a little bit of a disappointment for us last week. Went to fire her up for the first time since the rebuild only to find (unsurprisingly after 2 months!) that the blatery was flat 🙆🏻

What silly billies we are *smile*

Don your white armani suit and call out the AA/RAC for a jump start..

or (this could be getting a bit technical)...

go to Halfrauds and ask the guy for some 'jump leads'... don't worry he won't laugh, its not a type of skipping rope.

Buy the 2nd most expensive ones he offers your (or the most expensive if there are only two)... this is generally a good buying policy.

Take them home.

park uberbarge so the bonnet (bit at the front between you and the number plate) is very close to zena.

Open bonnet (you might need Delberta to help heree...)

remove bonnet on Zena...

take 'jump leads'...

attach the big red sex toy like thing on the end of the lead to the red terminal of Zena's battery (medium sized black sq that sits above where Delberta's feet go). Attach the sex toy at the other end of red lead to the + terminal under Uber-barges bonnet (again might need Delberata to assits in finding termain).

Repeat process for BLACK lead, being carful of sparks...

Start uberbarge and whilst its engine is idling go and fire up Zena. (some people say you shouldn't start uberbarge at this point as you risk frying things, but I always do it this way to give the patient car more of a kick).

Once Zena is running, leave her idling....

Remove black lead.

Remove red lead.

Close uberbarge boonet.

park uberbarge out of the way.

Replace Zena's bonnet.

Go for a blat...

stop and get out and go back for Zena's bonnet which blew off 'cos you forgot to do up all her buckles...

Have good 30 min blat to fully charge battert.... 😬 😬 😬 😬

Neil,

These here leads are they approximatley 20ft long as ZeNA was driven into the garage not reversed and the floor and drive are on a slope

Anyway I'll go for a Blat tonight if it kills me, I have to go get some fuel, thats assuming there is enough in there to get me into the Chavdom.

If I may be serious. I know I'm in the wrong place but moneys involved here.

Letting batteries go flat will shorten their life.

For a few quid buy one of the new electronic battery maintenance things.

Now here's the clever bit. Plug it in and screw unit to the garage roof. Get some elastic and fit it so the plug hangs down just above dash. Now fit cigar lighter to dash and when yo drive car in garage just plug charger in.

Battery will never go flat, and will last about twice as long.

The money saved over the next few years can be sent to me in a brown envelope (actually any colour will do)

and Delbert did you get my mail about you needing a new battery .............

You and your white suit have got to beat £43.57

You battery will never hold charge properly once it's been flat for more time than it takes a Chav to get pregnant.

What you need is Banner 53034 and a battery conditioner (Halfruads sell 'em £30 for one that doubles up as a charger to so you can put it on a poorly charged battery, it'll charge it back to 12v and then maintain it for as long as you like)

Supercheese R250
