KenEvans
.....to download a data logger. Needs XP and preferably, though not essentially, a USB port. Though if it has a port that'll take a CompactFlash card that will be perfect. It would be great if the battery's still holding a charge! I could collect if it's in the Midlands or would pay postage on top of an really keen price that somebody could come up with on their obsolete lap top. KenEvans
Yup - but I prefer reliable blatchatters for something like this.
Steve Robinson
Ken, I have an old Toshiba pro that has a USB port, but isn't running XP - at a guess it will have Win 98 on it. Think the battery still holds a charge but can check before you commit if you like. Yours for a silly money offer. I'm working in Tamworth week after next and staying in Solihull so could meet you then if you want it. Steve
KenEvans
Thank you Steve - I'll check today to see if the logger software can run on Win 98 or speak to one of computer literate sons regarding getting XP onto it
