As we left Buckingham Palace my 6 year old daughter started crying. “What’s up, is everything OK, why are you crying?” we asked “The Queen didn’t come out to say hello” she said. A while later we were standing at the end of Downing Street “This is where Tony Blair lives and works, remember seeing him on TV?" "......and he won’t be coming out to see us either?"
