You might also be interested to know that there is an article on the prisoner Caterhams coming out shortly in OCTANE magazine. I am told it should be in the next issue. EFA Posted January 30, 2005 Share Posted January 30, 2005 I believe there is only one VX HPC Prisoner car ever built. Caterham were trying to sell it about 7 years ago after it had been left outside to rot by its owner - it needed a very thorough reskin and complete reupholster. In the condition it was in they wanted £12k! It didn't even drive! I would say that if there really is only one factory Prisoner HPC, it is likley worth as much as a JPE or maybe more. I seem to remember that when I saw this car it had completed more than 20k miles though, so perhaps Caterham did build more than one after all......
