Dave Barrow
Basically the 7 has to go to fund Business expansion a sad day! This car shares all the suspension that you have read about recently on the Freestyle Duratec car, on BC and in EVO amongst other previous publications all singing it’s praises well above any traditional 7 set up. Others on this forum have driven it Nemesis Bowser all before it was even properly set up were amazed at the grip turn in and stability. We all know Len and Gary’s reputation and those that have had the pleasure of dealing with them know that perfection is not good enough. 2002 Superlight No 175 12.5k miles Body Ferrari Rosso red FIA Roll Bar Leather interior Carbon Dash, Big red starter button, Shift lights 4 Point harness x 2 Full weather pack, tonneau and heater Armor Fend on wings and door protection on the bonnet Carbon wing protectors and 7 grille Chassis powdercoated Suspension Freestyle ‘superwide’ pushrod SV rear dion Avo adjustable dampers Freestyle roadhandling springs Freestyle rear diffuser Caterham large brake upgrade 13” Anthracite 8 spoke with CR500 rubber LSD Engine bay 1.8SS comp spec (not all superlights had the comp spec) Forged pistons, Comp spec crank bearings, lightened flywheel Lightweight al radiator Apollo Anti Cav tank Upgraded starter motor 6 speed box (Redline MTL filled v smooth) 4-2-1 polished with cat I’m asking 19.5k which for the spec and a genuinely unique 7 I think is fair. Dave Barrow
☹️reduced to 19k with 4k's worth of independently (magazines and BC members) highly praised fitted extra's suspension and exhaust this surely is a good deal! Set up and all installed by Freestyle superbly balanced sharing identical set up to the highly acclaimed Freestyle Duratec. Dave Barrow
Come on people you know when it get's to March there will be more looking to get an unmolested non raced lowish mileage younger than 2001 Superlight and your going to find it near impossible for less than 17k! So take mine 😬 no stone chips not even on the nose or wings, a host of extra's - the car on a track or windy road is faster than any R300 a lot of people have raved about it b4 I bought it so independent and there is plenty of motoring journo's praising the set up! Remember 4k's worth of suspension and exhaust reduced to 19k! Any one that has never read BC posts on Freestyles work or in the magazines and are concerned about the wide set up remeber many would love the extra SV stability and have praised it well you can have it on a standard 7 only better still with Pushrod. Look where the CSR is going how long do you think 7's will be made the traditional susp way there is a reason!! Dave B Superlight No.175 Freestyle superwide Pushrod SV rear and aerofoil mmmmmmmm!
