V7 SLR Posted January 25, 2005 Share Posted January 25, 2005 I've changed to a set of Fluke/MoG carbon fibre headlamps so I have my old standard SLR black headlamps for sale. Condition: *arrowright*Well the shells are OK, no rust at all although the powder coating has a nick or two in both shells. The scratches are not actually scratched through to the metal. No dents. *arrowright*The rings were never very good. The powder coating fell off early in my ownership so I roughed them up and painted them black. The paint's well worn on the leading edges now. Could really use a re-paint and then finish with lacquer to give them some durability. *arrowright*On to the lenses themselves... one's perfect, one has a crack in it. I suspect any cracks at all will fail MoT although I don't actually know that. Both come with the rubber boots. Sidelight bulbs only. I have a pair of indicator lenses in perfect condition I will chuck in if interested. Guide price: £30, but I don't want to post them. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
