Duratec injection fuel pump?

What pressure are you running, ?

If your pump was not up to the job, it would have showed up when your engine/car was mapped or dynoed, as you must know because you state your HP. It would be running very lean if it was not up to the job. *thumbup*

The engine was dynoed (using what ever ancillaries they used). It wa then installed in the car using the standard R400 pump.

As it happens it does have a persistent miss-fire but this as at part throttle around 4,500rpm, I need to get this sorted on a rolling road session I think.

How can I tell what pressure my fuel pump is? and how do I know what I need?

cheers,

Spoke to parts this morning......uprated pump £70 + theft

I`m not shelling out unless I`m told it`s absolutely necessary......I`m waiting for more info from Caterham on the spec of the pump. I`m sure there are plenty of high powered k series cars running with the std pump.

Just heard back from Len Unwin whom I asked seeing as they have a 2.3 and he has asked Minister who said for their 215 the standard pump is fine whilst they fit the uprated pump for the 24 hr car.

So might just get away with it until Mr Upgrade comes knocking next time of course. 😬
